Nierstichting – Health~Holland PPS Call 2024
De oproep richt zich op onderzoek dat past binnen de centrale missie Gezondheid & Zorg en ten minste 1 van de 5 missies die bijdragen aan deze centrale missie, zoals beschreven in de Kennis & Innovatie Agenda (KIA) 2024-2027 Zorg & Gezondheid. De Nierstichting – Health~Holland PPS Call 2024 staat open voor aanvragen waarbinnen ontwikkelingen een rol spelen die beginnen bij Technology Readiness Level 4 (TRL4).
Het totaal beschikbare budget voor de Nierstichting – Health~Holland PPS Call 2024 is €1.400.000, bestaande uit €1.000.000 bijdrage van het ministerie van Economische Zaken & Klimaat, via PPS Subsidie die is toegekend aan Health~Holland voor de stimulans van Publiek-Private Samenwerking en €400.000 in cash bijdrage van de Nierstichting.
In deze subsidieronde worden 2 projecten gesubsidieerd. Het maximaal beschikbare subsidiebedrag per aanvraag is:
- PPS Subsidie (Health~Holland): €500.000
- In cash bijdrage (Nierstichting): €200.000
Om optimaal gebruik te maken van de beschikbare PPS-subsidie moet ieder project €500.000,- PPS-subsidie gebruiken.

Indiening en beoordeling
De deadline voor het indienen van vooraanvragen is op woensdag 12 juni 2024, 23:59 uur. De indiening van een volledige aanvraag is enkel op uitnodiging.
Dien je aanvraag in via ons subsidiebeheersysteem MIDAS. Let op: het is niet mogelijk om een aanvraag per e-mail te versturen. Informatie over het registreren en inloggen in ons subsidiebeheersysteem MIDAS en over het indienen van een subsidieaanvraag via het systeem staat in de Gebruikersinstructie voor aanvragers / User manual for applicants.
In het kort bestaat een vooraanvraag uit het invullen van:
- Een digitaal indieningsformulier in MIDAS. Ga naar MIDAS en log in. Klik op To Calls for Proposals – Naar subsidierondes en kies voor de Nierstichting-Health~Holland PPS call pre-application
- Een aanvraagformulier dat je als bijlage (pdf) toevoegt aan het indieningsformulier.
Het vooraanvraagformulier is hieronder te vinden (onder ‘Formulieren’).
De ingediende vooraanvragen worden beoordeeld door de International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) van de Nierstichting. De volledige aanvragen worden beoordeeld door externe wetenschappelijke referenten, een panel van en patiëntbeoordelaars, en de ISAB. De referenten en adviesraden brengen een advies uit aan de Nierstichting. De programmacommissie van de Nierstichting neemt dit advies zwaarwegend mee in haar uiteindelijke besluit over toekenning van subsidie.

This Call for pre-proposals is an initiative of the Dutch Kidney Foundation (DKF) in collaboration with Health~Holland (Top Sector Life Sciences & Health). Together we strive for the translation of knowledge in the renal field towards relevant applications for kidney patients, their relatives , and risk groups for developing chronic kidney disease.
The topic of research fits within the social theme 'Health & Care', the central mission and at least one of the five focused missions that contribute to the central mission of this theme, as concretized in the Knowledge & Innovation Agenda (KIA) 2024-2027 Health and Care, and the objectives of the regulation. The Dutch Kidney Foundation – Health~Holland PPP Call 2024 is open to proposals that involve development starting at Technology Readiness Level 4 (TRL4).
The total available budget for the Dutch Kidney Foundation – Health~Holland PPP Call 2024 is €1.400.000, consisting of €1.000.000 contribution by the ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, through PPP-Subsidy that was granted to the Top Sector Life Sciences & Health for the stimulation of Public-Private Partnerships and €400.000 in cash contribution by the DKF.
In this call for proposals two projects will be funded. Maximum available grant per application:
- PPP Subsidy: €500.000
- In cash contribution (DKF): €200.000
To optimize the utilization of the available PPP subsidy each project must use €500.000 PPP subsidy.

Application and assessment
The deadline to submit your pre-proposals is on Wednesday 12 June 2024, 23:59h.
Submit your application via our grant management system MIDAS. Note: it is not possible to submit your application via email. Our user manual for applicants contains instructions to register and log in to MIDAS and for submitting a grant application through this system. Go to MIDAS and log in. Click on To Calls for Proposals – Naar subsidierondes and select the Nierstichting-Health~Holland PPS call pre-application to submit your pre-application.
In short, a pre-application includes:

The International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) of the Dutch Kidney Foundation will assess the submitted applications. The full applications will be assessed by external scientific reviewers, a panel of patient representatives and the ISAB. The reviewers and advisory boards give advice, which is of significant importance to the final decision by the program committee of the Dutch Kidney Foundation.
